Midland Credit Management is hiring highly driven, career focused Process Excellence Manager to help support DM (Debt Manager) Platforms which supports all areas of the company. This individual is responsible for assisting internal stakeholders in production support activities in our core applications and the development of business workflow within DM. This includes running queries, building reports, process flows, leading system jobs, working closely with IT on priorities to help drive solutions, as well as the participation in projects / analysis as needed and provide and communicate performance and initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Query database to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions
  • Build reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and/or Power BI
  • Manage and execute ETL (Extract Transform Load) Jobs and Processes
  • Provide technical support to external vendors
  • Partner with IT to define requirements, test, and implement break/fix changes
  • Autonomously build effective solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity and easily work around roadblocks
  • Define and implement improvements to current processes
  • Identify and communicate gaps in current policies, procedures and processes
  • Build job aids and procedures to support current processes
  • Act as a domain expert for projects with moderate levels of complexity

Required

  • Querying skills using Microsoft SQL server
  • Report building skills using SQL Server Reporting Services and/or Power BI
  • Knowledge in HTML, CSS, Java and/or comparable languages
  • Agile project methodology experience (specifically SCRUM)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite programs, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years' experience in a project or process management role or equivalent education and experience
  • The ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to process changes
  • Teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, and relationship management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A 'Can Do', positive attitude and professional team player spirit

Preferred

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration or IT
  • Experience with Debt Manager or similar collection platforms
  • Knowledge of MOVEit file transfer and/or comparable applications
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar work management platforms
  • 2 years strategic planning and/or process design, consulting or business analysis preferred
