Starting Compensation

Annual Salary: $64,900.00 - $92,999.00 (Amount based on office location, relevant experience, skills, and competencies)

The Sr. Program Manager is responsible for supporting the overall Legal Collection channel’s operations and promoting a culture of compliance in line with MCM’s Requirements. The primary responsibilities of this role are to coordinate on all components of programs for Legal Collections, while managing, executing, and optimizing new and existing medium in size/complexity programs and processes.

This role will coordinate on all components of multiple department-level programs that are moderate in complexity (which entails complicated problems that are manageable with standard procedures and processes; requires analyses and coordination to work through it).

This role may be asked to bring forward sound recommendations to resolve obstacles while managing multiple programs & act as a strong contributor in org-level initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate on all components of multiple department-level programs that are moderate in complexity (which entails complicated problems that are manageable with standard procedures and processes; requires analyses and coordination to work through it). Ensure programs/processes operates as expected, which includes management, execution (while bringing forward well thought through strategic recommendations) and overall program optimization across a network of external suppliers and internal stakeholders.  May require the creation of new program and processes as needed.    
    Interactions with key business, legal & compliance stakeholders, external law firms/agencies and provide coaching/training to junior Program Managers
  • Assist with department level strategic initiatives on an as needed basis
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:  Bachelor's

  • 4+ years of relevant business operations
  • Prior program or process management
  • Strong PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

  • Ability to multitask and keep track of multiple commitments; planning, attention to details, ability to adapt to change and operate in the high-pace/quality/output team
  • Ability to prioritize effectivity
  • High problem-solving and collaboration skills
  • Business and analytical skills to assist in identifying, establishing, and executing against business related priorities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:  Master's or Advanced                          

EXPERIENCE: 

  • Business operations experience in a highly regulated industry; preferably financial services;
  • Experience with ADA, FCRA, FDCPA, EFTA, TCPA, GLBA, SCRA, UDAAP, particularly as applied to debt servicing and collections
  • Prior Project management experience is preferred

CERTIFICATION(S):  Financial services

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

  • Knowledge of compliance requirements, particularly as applied to debt servicing and collections
