The role sits within the IT Operations area, and the right candidate would be an experienced 3rd level Infrastructure engineer with an ability to provide the technical expertise required to implement a variety of infrastructure projects, as well as take ownership for resolving 3rd level incidents and issues.

The role is responsible for troubleshooting and improving the systems that keep the backend infrastructure running smoothly, and this will require knowledge of a range of Infrastructure related technologies, including server hardware platforms, operating systems, virtualization technologies, and cloud/SaaS.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide the technical expertise required for complex project deliverables across a Microsoft, VMWare, Dell, Citrix, and NetApp infrastructure
• Security focused supporting vulnerability management and mitigation
• Provide effective support at a 3rd level across the infrastructure
• Provide 3rd level support to Cloud based technologies including Azure and M365
• Support and improvement of Exchange Hybrid environments
• Identify risks and areas for improvement across the infrastructure
• Be part of the on-call roster to ensure incidents are effectively manage outside of business hours
• Participate in patching and release weekend responsibilities
