The Supervisor, Accounts Payable is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the Accounts Payable function by providing direction and leadership to staff and ensuring the timely payments of vendor invoices and expense reports.
Responsibilities
Complete special projects as assigned. 5%
Conduct research for incoming inquiries from all levels of management regarding invoice/payment processing to provide answers and/or directions. 15%
Create journal entries for monthly accruals, and miscellaneous adjusting entries, and forward to Accounting. 5%
Maintain time keeping and scheduling system for assigned associates. 5%
Management of direct reports. 5%
Monitor all purchase orders for completeness, accuracy and aging. 5%
Reconcile general ledger accounts related to payables. 10%
Review incoming invoices to ensure approval levels, General Ledger allocations and vendor information is accurate and in compliance with Company policy. 50%
Education
Required: Associate; Accounting/Finance or related field
Preferred: Bachelor
Language
Required: English
Experience
Required: 5 + years in accounting or accounts payable. Knowledge of MAS200; 10 key. Proficient MS Office (Excel). Strong leadership skills required with ability to motivate and inspire others to provide required results; strong time management and analytical skills.
Preferred: 1 year in leadership role.
