The Java Software Developer II owns modification and maintenance of software applications with large scope. This role participates in the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for assigned projects, including analysis and design and is 70% transactional and 30% strategic.


  • Design and improve software applications under supervision of manager or technical lead as needed.
  • Attend formal and informal training sessions to continue developing technical skills as needed.
  • Other application development projects as assigned.


English: B2 - C1 (Fluent).


Bachelor’s degree in:

Computer Science o related field.

Nice to have: Master's Degree!


3-5 years in Java development; professional in a specific skill set, business area or product, but remains focused primarily on day-to-day execution required.

Plus: working for a publicly traded company in a similar role.

Technologies such as: Java, HTML, SQL, Tomcat - Microservices Development, agile process and Test-Driven Development required.

Highly proficient in Eclipse based IDE preferred.

Windows OS required.

Complete day-to-day activities independently. Social skills necessary to lead all aspects of a small team of junior staff required.
