The Senior Manager IT, Product Development leads all aspects of the end to end software development and operational management of multiple technology platforms including in house developed and externally bought or rented platforms. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and wants to make an impact on an organization to assist in implementing and modernizing our communication channels. Plays an important role in driving the technology transformation of company including helping to build and drive the culture, energize the team to streamline processes and focus on modernizing technology needed for the future.

Responsibilities include:

  • Application development, support, platform testing, problem / incident management, capacity management, change management, middle ware & database support
  • Platform engineering, platform monitoring, platform tools and
  • Efficient engagement / integration with enterprise & wholesale engineering and support teams
  • Focuses on day-to-day operational execution and will also include significant input to technology strategy
  • Administer overarching plan for IT function
  • Management and coaching of multiple teams both on and offshore

Requirements:

  • 10 years related experience with current technology platforms such as AWS.  
  • Mastery of relevant programming languages (Java or .Net) and technical expertise at a level as to act as an internally and externally reliable, knowledgeable resource.
  • Ability to develop and exercise business plans, policies and procedures and ability to improve efficiencies.
  • Good communication and coaching skills and an ability to motivate change in an organization.
  • Experience managing a highly technical, global team in a corporate setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering
  • Master's/Advanced degree is preferred.
