The Opportunity
We are seeking a Manager, Performance Management to join in our Legal Outsourcing Channel in San Diego, California. The Manager, Performance Management is primarily responsible for managing relatively large and/or new outsourcing programs and initiatives for designated vendors. This role provides an opportunity to have significant P&L responsibility by managing key relationships across the US.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Cultivating and leveraging relationships with influential decision-makers at partner firms to drive business goals and act as their trusted advisor and advocate within Encore
- Analyzing business drivers at both the partner and program level to manage and improve performance
- Identifying and managing areas of risk at the partner and program level
- Continuously analyzing program performance/satisfaction to identify trends and opportunities for strategic initiatives
- Developing program/placement strategies and executing against such strategies
- Leading and developing a team of 1-4 Performance Managers to achieve operational and strategic priorities
- Monitoring and analyzing partner firm policies and processes to ensure alignment with the Encore Consumer Bill of Rights
- Developing action plans and drive them to resolution
- Providing partner intelligence to the appropriate business units/internal resources and initiating and managing discussions of implications and potential opportunities
- Monitoring the business environment to detect material changes and opportunities to ensure that Encore’s strategies remain highly effective
- Setting, communicating and measuring program goals, including program expansion
- Creating performance incentive programs to drive collection results
- Driving program/partner communications both internally and externally
- Presenting work progress effectively to internal management and build buy-in for recommendations
- Traveling 15-20% annually
Skills and Education
- Bachelor’s Degree required; business focus preferred
- Previous experience in managing employees as direct reports required
- 5-7 years experience in program management or related experience, or equivalent education and experience
