About the Role

The role ofInfrastructure EngineerIVis responsible forautomatingthedeployment,management, administration and maintenance of theInfrastructureenvironment based on technologies such as Windows Server 2008R2/2012R2/2016/ 2019,Linux,RDSH,Active Directory Servicesand Office 365.You willdevelop and implementinfrastructure automation tools and processesforWindows serverand workstationapplications,Linuxsystemsand interoperability within a larger, heterogeneousenterprise. As part of theGlogalInformation Systems team, you will be involved in implementation and planning of complex projects involving advanced technologiesand platforms.

This position will report to theSeniorITManager,Process and Strategy.

Strategy & Planning

  • Leads thedevelopment,planning, implementation IT Infrastructureautomationsolutions 

  • Exploresandimplementsnew ways to automate systems

  • Designsand testsautomationplatformsand processes

  • Developsnew automated components

  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory,GPO administration, AD replication, DHCP, DNS.

  • Recommends and facilitates improvement efforts. Stays up to date on future innovations, technical trends and applies this to direct future changes. Has knowledge of the solutions available, as well asbest practices for the business processes.

  • Design and execute Operating System Deployment (OSD), In-Place Upgrades (IPU), and push configuration changes using SCCM

  • Work to automatethelarge scale and targeted distribution of software or patches via SCCM,WSUS andYUMand patch managementplatforms.

  • Strong working knowledge of writing and modifying PowerShell scripts for automating routine tasks, and tooling.

  • Assist in developofnew and existing technologiesas it relates to service and system support.


  • College diploma orUniversity degree in the field ofComputer science orITManagementand/or4years equivalent work experience.

  • VMware Certifications or Experience.

  • 5+ years’ experience inIT architecture and IT infrastructure components

  • 5+ years’ experience in enterprise systems analysis, systemsdesign,and systems integration

  • 5+ years’ experiencedriving products from concept and ideation through successful launch

  • AdvancedWindows ServerPlatformexpertise

  • AdvancedWindows Workstationplatform expertise

  • Operational and Engineering experiencewith in theVmware/VSphereplatforms

  • Intermediate experience withRHELplatforms

  • Proficient in oneoremore scripting and automation tools:

  • PowerShell

  • Bash

  • Terraform

  • Perl

  • Chef

  • Ansible

  • Experience with containerization and virtualization,vSAN, hyperconverged infrastructure desired.

  • Intermediate knowledge of ITIL practices,CMDB,IT-Service-Management, and operations processes. 

  • Advanced skillin project management.

  • Proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.


  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) is preferred.

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) is preferred.

  • Cisco UCS Certification or Experience is preferred.
