HR Specialist Job Description

The HR Specialist is an individual contributor within the HR organization. This person will work closely with HR team members from Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and the HR Business Partners to manage project delivery, build and own vendor relationships, use data extraction tools for tracking metrics against goals/ run rates/ benchmarking, identify process and system improvements, and work with internal and external teams to implement solutions.
About the Role
·Tracking, managing, and reporting project updates for HR leadership
·Gain stakeholder support for change management on a variety of initiatives
·Process documentation and process improvement initiatives
·Developing, maintaining and reporting on key metrics across the Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partner, Benefits and Talent Program Departments
·Managing key vendor relationships
·Performing ad hoc research and analysis as needed
·Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or another relevant field
·1-3 years of project coordinator/management or process improvement experience
·Results oriented, fast-paced and highly motivated
·Able to complete assignments in a timely, accurate and autonomous manner
·Strong problem-solving skills
·Excellent organizational skills
·Work in a complex environment with multiple priorities. Must coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and independently set priorities
·Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills
·Ability to document processes (Visio or other tools)
·Understanding of systems and applications, with an emphasis on structure, functions and processes
·Comfortable working with and analyzing large sets of data and presenting results
·Excellent written/verbal communication skills
·Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and technology
·Ability to work independently with limited supervision and work well in a team environment
