The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) project manager is a key member of our DEI team, partnering closely with the Senior Manager, Human Resources to manage the execution of our global DEI program.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Management: Manages small to mid-size projects concurrently under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Human Resources to deliver on DEI goals. Project responsibilities include developing timelines, designing processes, creating documentation and communications and ongoing support. Ensures project tasks are completed according to agreed-upon deadlines and expectations. Effectively manages time and competing priorities to complete assignments. Ensures clear communication within projects to achieve goals. Manages and completes a process to measure and communicate program effectiveness.

Program Progress and Communications: Collaborate with DEI team to create overall program update, by gathering status reports, identifying themes, developing, maintaining, and reporting on key metrics and providing recommendations for action within the DEI program. Facilitate recurring team meetings. Create program-wide communications to update employees on progress. Oversee and support execution of cultural celebration and awareness communications.

Research and analysis: Identify external DEI trends, find and share educational resources (articles, webinars, etc.), research and apply for awards and certification opportunities.

Relationship Management: Partner with internal stakeholders across the organization on DEI needs as well as managing key vendor relationships. 10%

Process Improvement: Support execution of DEI process improvement initiatives to achieve program goals and outcomes.

Certification

PREFERRED: Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP)

Education

Degree: High School Diploma

PREFERRED Degree: Bachelor’s Degree

Field of Study: Industrial/Organization (IO) Psychology, Organizational Development (OD), Organizational Effectiveness (OE), Human Resources, or related field 

Experience

REQUIRED: 2-4 years of experience in HR in a global, cross-cultural organization and project or program management experience.

PREFERRED: DEI-specific experience. Experience with Employee Resource Groups.

PC Skills

REQUIRED: Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite programs such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.

Other Skills

Project Management: Is well-organized and able to lead projects from conception to close. Possesses basic project management skills including planning, scope/budget/time/resource management, etc. Is able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workloads to meet competing deadlines, and make appropriate decisions regarding relative cost and benefit of potential actions.

Corporate Communications: Has experience creating clear, concise and visually appealing corporate communications to convey information to a large, global audience.

Relationship Management: Has developed business acumen and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure effective identification of needs. Negotiates well in difficult situations, with a sensitivity to cultural and regional differences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  

Languages

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
