Starting Compensation

Annual Salary: $156,900.00 - $203,799.00 (Amount based on office location, relevant experience, skills, and competencies)

The Director SEC Reporting is responsible for all matters related to SEC reporting and technical accounting. This position also manages the implementation, maintenance and review of world-wide accounting policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all aspects of SEC reporting including form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy, iXBRL tagging, etc. Design and drive the effectiveness of financial reporting packages for domestic and international subsidiaries.
• Manage review and approval of SEC filings with external auditors, inside and outside legal counsel and disclosure and audit committees. Prepare committee meeting materials.
• Manage the implementation, maintenance and review of world-wide accounting policies and procedures.  
• Identify complex transactions and emerging accounting standards. Research/prepare related technical accounting memos.
• Coordinate accounting and reporting matters with key functional areas (treasury, tax, corporate development and legal, etc.)  
• Provide strategic accounting guidance to management and assist in the evaluation and due diligence involved in acquisitions, new initiatives, and other business development opportunities.
• Maintain ongoing SOX documentation and ensure that all documentation complies with regulations and professional standard.
• Support the corporate month-end close, financial consolidation and analysis. Provide guidance to general accounting group to ensure proper sub-consolidation and consolidation.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:  Bachelor's                 

FIELD OF STUDY:  Finance, Accounting

EXPERIENCE:  10+ years of relevant experience in public accounting and financial reporting.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including MS Office [Word, PPT and Excel]
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting
• Strong knowledge of monitoring tools and implementation of control tools
• Able to communicate with all levels of management
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong business acumen and ability to influence and communicate well both internally and externally
