This role is a critical role in our St. Cloud office. The position has direct reports that supports affidavit production.

The Role: 

The Legal Collections Department is looking for a Supervisor/Group Manager to join our team here in St. Cloud, MN.  This resource will support the Legal Collections Department with assisting the team and to partner in managing of daily operations.  The Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations and management of the Specialist teams.  Also managing escalations and inquiries, including supervision of employees, process and procedure execution. Interacts with internal and external customers (including Legal Outsourcing (LO) Firms and Internal Legal (IL) partners) as well as multiple cross-functional organizations.

In addition, this position interacts with internal and external customers as well as multiple cross-functional organizations making it critical to be able to develop strong relationships to drive business results. The position reports to Manager, Operations, requires a balanced mix of people, process and project management with a high sense of ownership and drive to deliver breakthrough results.  Knowledge and experience with lean production methods and data analysis is an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of direct reports (reporting to the role): 1-18 team members
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of all work product, create, set and communicate performance plans to drive results where applicable.
  • Analyze business drivers at both the partner and program level to manage and improve performance including the project management of both individual and team initiatives.
  • Develops and maintains relationship with key partners both internally and externally.
  • Develop program / process strategies and execute against such strategies.
  • Develops and maintains relationship with key partners both internally and externally.
  • Conducts on-going training for new hires on an as needed basis.
  • Analyze business drivers at both the partner and program level to manage and improve performance including the project management of both individual and team initiatives.
  • Execute on employee performance management, including training, coaching, recognition and course correction.  
  • Execute on program / process strategies.

Education:

  • Required: High School Diploma
  • Preferred: Field of Study: Business related field

Language:

  • Required: English

Experience:

  • Required: 1 - 3 years’ experience in a People, Project, or Process Management role, or equivalent education and experience
  • Preferred: 1 - 2 years’ experience in Financial Services and / or vendor / Program Management

Technical Skills:

  • Required: 1 - 2 years customer service or clerical experience. Experience with MS Office. Good communication skills, Data Entry.
  • Preferred: 2+ years work experience in financial services related field. System querying skills. Proficiency with MS Office (particularly Excel).
